Eine oder mehrere Seitenstangen (366 cm) k\u00f6nnen optional benutzt werden, um das Quadratic\u2122 Zelt widerstandsf\u00e4higer und freistehend zu machen. Die Seitenstangen helfen zus\u00e4tzlich das Zelt l\u00e4ngs zu spannen; die Heringe werden also nur f\u00fcr die Apsiden ben\u00f6tigt. Die Seitenstange verleiht dem Zelt ebenso extreme Stabilit\u00e4t bei Seitenwinden, indem die Seitenw\u00e4nde verst\u00e4rkt und das Hauptgest\u00e4nge unterst\u00fctzt wird. <\/p>\n<p>Extrem widerstandsf\u00e4hige Easton<sup3>\u00ae<\/sup3>  Expedition Aluminium Zeltstange mit 11,0 mm Durchmesser. Das 7075er Aluminium ist  auf H\u00e4rtestufe T9 hitzebehandelt und harteloxiert.<\/p>\n<p>Quadratic\u2122 Zelte haben an jeder Seite eine Tunnelschlaufe f\u00fcr die Seitenstangen. Normalerweise werden pro Seite eine Zeltstange verwendet. Um Gewicht zu sparen, kann auch nur eine Zeltstange f\u00fcr die windzugewendete Seite verwendet werden. Die Seitenstangen m\u00fcssen nicht vom gleichen Typen sein.
